When i support your birth, you will…

Be fully educated and informed of your birthing rights, be emotionally supported through your pregnancy, birth, and immediate postpartum, have a trusted advocate for you and your baby, have someone who will allow your partner to be fully present rather than have him manage anything in the labor process, have someone who has been through birth twice who can reassure your every move during the peaks and valleys that is birth.

As your birth doula, my goal is that you have a positive birth outcome no. matter. what. Emotional and physical support during your pregnancy, labor & birth, and immediate postpartum makes a huge difference in a mother’s transition into motherhood. Not only will i be there to support YOU, but I am there to support your partner so that he can stay calm, support your every need, and not need to do a lot of thinking while you are laboring; I will take care of many if not all of the logistics when it comes to your labor process so that you can simply move and flow through the experience.

I have been a birth doula for 10 years and have attended nearly 60 births. It is vital that a trusted and loving relationship is created with my clients before I enter into your space so that you feel fully comfortable with my support. I attend births both in and out of hospital. I consult families in regards to out of hospital care so that all of your questions about all of your options are answered. All of my doula clients may take my 4-week Radically Brave Birthing birth education course for free.

As your birth doula, after our initial exchange, we will begin our process with a free consultation so that you and your partner can meet me and ask questions before committing. From there, we will have at least two prenatal appointments and then I will be on call for your birth beginning at 38 weeks. When I arrive at your birth I will remain with you until your baby is born unless it is a multiple day process; we can discuss the many options in these cases in our prenatal visits. After the birth of your baby, I will be available to you via text/phone call and depending on proximity, I will visit you and your family one time.
